"Dreaming Ourselves Awake" is a short documentary that explores the filmmakers grandmother, reflecting on the major life shift that introduced her to the artist inside that she buried for much of her adulthood. Deborah J. Milton, a trained Psychotherapist left her practice to move to rural Montana with dreams of finding a space of creativity and independence as an artist.
